Frequently Asked Questions

Game won't load or crashes on startup
  • Make sure your device is running Android 8.0 or later
  • Close other apps to free up memory
  • Clear the app cache: Settings → Apps → Magnet Mayhem → Storage → Clear Cache
  • Uninstall and reinstall the game (your progress is saved to your Google account if signed in)
  • Restart your device
Lost game progress
  • Make sure you're signed in with the same Google account you used previously
  • Cloud save syncs automatically when signed in — check that you have an internet connection
  • If you switched devices, sign in with the same Google account on the new device and accept the cloud restore prompt
  • If you were playing without signing in, local progress cannot be recovered after uninstalling
In-app purchase not received
  • Wait a few minutes — sometimes purchases take time to process
  • Restart the game — pending purchases are automatically processed on launch
  • Check your Google Play purchase history to confirm the transaction completed
  • Try the "Restore Purchases" button in Settings
  • If the issue persists, contact us with your Google Play order ID (found in your purchase confirmation email)
How do I restore the "Remove Ads" purchase on a new device?

Go to Settings within the game and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed in with the same Google account that made the original purchase. The Remove Ads entitlement will be restored automatically.

Ads not loading or showing errors
  • Check your internet connection
  • This is usually temporary — ad networks occasionally have low inventory
  • Make sure you haven't blocked ads at the system or network level
  • If you purchased Remove Ads, interstitial ads should not appear. Rewarded ads (optional, for bonuses) may still be available.
How do I change my ad preferences?

Go to Settings within the game and tap "Ad Preferences". This opens Google's consent form where you can update your choices about personalized advertising. You can also manage ad personalization system-wide via Android Settings → Google → Ads.

How do friend codes work?

Each signed-in player has a unique friend code visible in the Social section. Share your code with friends, and they can add you by entering it. Once connected, you can send and receive challenges. Friend codes require a Google sign-in to use.
